About me
Cynthia Makiese born in 1989, came in contact with various art forms at an early age, because of her turbulent and unusual childhood. She studied fashion in Eindhoven but left the creative field for many years. Makiese found the meaning of surviving and connecting through art again, and started organizing art events and projects in 2016. She founded The Bohemian Art Collector in 2018, where she offers a platform for talented, emerging and''lost''artists, where connections and collaborations are central between the artists and the public. The Bohemian Art Collector is one of her ways to try to generate multidisciplinary collaborations and build a community. She is currently working as the new curator of visual arts exhibitions at the Plein-theater in Amsterdam, and is working on her own art project.
