A product presentation in a room, a reception between the paintings, a meeting or presentation with an inspiring tour, a private meeting or a dinner with our beautiful art objects as a backdrop. The Cobra Museum is also an inspiring place for events!
Designed by architect Wim Quist, the building is modern, with lots of natural light, large windows, open spaces and a sculpture garden designed by Shinkichi Tajiri.
The Cobra Museum is located in the heart of Amstelveen, near the ring road, right next to the Stadshart Amstelveen shopping center and around the corner from the Schouwburg.
Possibilities
The Voordrachtzaal and the Boekerij are available every day of the week for private events. The Museum Café is available for hire every evening of the week. On Mondays and every day from 17:00 you can hold your event exclusively in the museum while no one else is present. In some cases it is possible to rent the entire museum for one or more days. Contact us, we will be happy to tell you about it.
Accessibility
The Cobra Museum is easily accessible, and parking is no problem. The building is located near exit S108 of the A9 near Amsterdam, and you can easily park your car in one of the two garages right next to our building, with a total of 1500 parking spaces. Exit tickets are available to give to your guests.
The Cobra Museum is located directly at the Amstelveen bus station. The bus takes you from Amsterdam directly to the Stadshart Amstelveen. The Amsterdamse Bos is just around the corner; via a beautiful wooded cycle path, you can reach our museum within half an hour by bike from Amsterdam.
Catering
As one of the few museums in the Netherlands, we manage the catering ourselves. This means that we have a lot of experience providing food and drinks at events and that everything we serve comes fresh from our kitchen. We can work quickly and flexibly and meet many wishes. For dinners, parties and large gatherings, we work together with various external caterers who guarantee top quality. We are happy to think along with you, also about the catering!
Technology
Our technicians take care of the audio-visual side of your meeting down to the last detail. If you want, someone is available all day to assist or stand by. We'll hire it for you if we don't have it ourselves. There is a good WiFi network.
Collaboration Schouwburg Amstelveen
When it comes to events, we often work together with the Schouwburg Amstelveen. Is the company too big for the Cobra Museum? Then take a look at the site of the Amstelveense Schouwburg. or combine both locations! A plenary session in one of the rooms of the Schouwburg Amstelveen followed by a reception in the Cobra Museum, for example. Or organize a dinner for a small group after your conference in one of the halls of the Schouwburg.
