Stan’s childhood was surrounded by an African Dutch society, which had a major influence on his taste for music, for the love of Hip Hop. After growing up in Sydney (Australia) and Holland for 16 years, he finally came to Jakarta (Indonesia) and has settled in Jakarta ever since. His passion for music initiated from the time when he first heard the sounds of R&B, Soul, and Rap; the essential beat roots of Hip Hop. Then his flavor for music stretched into the collaborating world of Urban and Dance music.
Stan began mixing in the early year of 2000 and has progressed and become rapidly populous throughout the years. In 2002 Stan and his former manager started a label called D’Makaveli where he got his name recognized amongst the most well-respected local DJs in Indonesia.
In 2005, after 3 long years with D’Makaveli, Stan decided to leave D’Makaveli and formed his own brand new label called “Trigger Production” with his two other friends with a vision to collect young Indonesian DJ talents and collectively organize a vast arrange of parties in the clubbing scene. As the CEO/Founder, Stan made Trigger Production a vast pioneer of event and DJ management in the Indonesian scene.
He rocked Festivals like GODSKITCHEN, Jakarta Movement Festival 03&04, Destination One Warehouse Festival, Brain Crushin HipHop Outdoor Festival, Scream Festival, FHM Festival, FAMOUS, Sean Paul Live in Concert after Party, Opening act for Ja Rule Live in Concert, Lucky Strike F1 Party, Official DJ for AKIL The MC (JURASSIC 5) @The SoulNation Festival, Dreamfields Bali, Djakarta Warehouse Project, Ultra Music Festival Bali and many more.
With his Trigger crew, Stan has moved thousands of music lovers on the dance floor with his Eclectic Open Format sounds from R&B, HipHop, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Classics, Bmore, BaileFunk, House and Electro at the most well-respected venues in Indonesia.
Stan’s initiative in being a DJ was to show his appreciation for music and most importantly, to share the music with others that possess the same devotion. Stan treats music like a soul. He gives his full senses to the music every single time it blows through the speakers.
